You Are My Sunshine - Melissa

Happy Monday!

Hello Crafty Friends!
Our Kreative Karma
I am Teresa Kaufhold from and
I am very excited to be sharing my very first post on the My Kreative Karma Blog with you!
What fun it is to join other crafty friends for a stress free blog!
The theme for the month of February was to be Love or Birthdays - and since Valentine's Day has already passed, I knew I had quite a few birthdays coming up in the month of March that I needed cards for - so why not get a head start?
This card is for my sweet little Granddaughter who will be turning 3 in March.

This card is called a 3 D Spinner Card and I found the file for it in the Silhouette Store.  I've never made a Spinner card before and thought it would be fun for my granddaughter!
When the card is closed, you see this sweet little owl with the Number 3 for her 3rd Birthday.

You can see I did a bit of embossing on the body of the owl...and HOW CUTE are the eyelashes on this
sweet owl??
As you open the card, you see the Owl layer turns around....
and the cupcake side comes into view!

I also typed my sentiment and placed it on the inside flap.
Here is a close up of the cupcake - I did some embossing to both pieces of the cupcake as well.
I sure hope she enjoys her card!  I would love for you to visit my blog and see other projects I have been working on!
Thanks for stopping by Our Kreative Karma!

Bee Happy by Marji

Hey there, Happy Wednesday! I am thrilled to share this project with you today.
How cute is this set?  I am so hooked on paper piecing, I rarely ink a stamp anymore.
I started as a dedicated stamper almost 20 years ago so not using stamps is something fairly new for me.
Since I discovered SVG's and got my Cameo, I'm in love!!
If you'd like a closer look at each piece, I'd love for you to stop by my blog too.

Happy Friday!

Well welcome to Our Kreative Karma today and so happy it's Friday!  This is my first post for the DT and glad I can finally make it.  I've been out of circulation due to surgery and am just getting back into my life so to speak.  I haven't had any crafting time at all, but that's going to be changing this weekend, but that's too late for today's post.  So what I'm going to be sharing with you all today are a few things I made when I was learning Photoshop.  I never got into digital scrapbooking, but I loved taggers tags.  When I say I was a tagger no one understands what I'm talking about except if you were a tagger.

Most of the 'tags' that I made were for forums or badges for different websites that I belonged to.  I was getting pretty good at it, but for some reason I stopped doing it.  I want to get back into it though, but need to put Photoshop on my laptop first.  I probably stopped doing it because I got the laptop and really haven't used my desktop since!!

My favorite digital artists for tubes is Pin Up Toons and Myka Lelina and I do have my license numbers on them, so I'm legal!

A couple of them are animated and a couple of them are not.  I did have fun making them and learning Photoshop and hope I can actually remember how now.

Thank you for stopping by today and check back often!!

Our Kreative Karma
Happy Valentine's Day!
Welcome to Karma today! I hope you're having a wonderful Valentine's Day, and even if you aren't in a relationship and expecting a real treat today, treat yourself! You deserve it! I made some 3 x3 cards. I love how easy and quick these are and great to tuck into a special gift or tie onto a bag. Let me tell you abou them!
The first two photos are of the whole group. I used some new tools that I wasn't familiar with, and some new stamps, and some new punches!

this web look was created by laying a stencil on the paper and then spraying it with a pink dye ink. the stencils come in all sorts of patterns! the heart was made with the Epihany punch system that lets you adhere the clear cover onto your stamped or paper piece and punch it out. There are silver shapes that allow you to add them to jewelry as well. I made a necklace!  the banner on the other card was made with a little banner punch, stapled with Tim Holtz tiny attacher ( I love that tool) and then the little pancake flipper just fits the stamp perfectly!

don't you love the little people on this card? I do.. so easy to attach them, added a stamped sentiment. The other card has a layer with a punched heart, background paper behind that and then layered on the background piece. Added some twine, bling, and how cute!

The heart was punched with a Nestiblities Die but not put into the die all the way so it was still able to remain together at the top. Added the ruffled die cut behind it, stamped, and added a light spray of a product. I forget what it was called, but something like spun sugar glaze.

These hearts were cut from an EK punch. The punch punches out in one swoop, a solid heart, a ring, and a larger ring. Or you can set the dial to cut out only the piece you like. I cut the hearts out of several colors, made a border, stamped and embossed the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment.

Two colors of pink washi tape, a cute phone stamp, and Call me cutie, with some bling hearts and this will be a cute little card to send to one of my daughters that love that current hit-Call Me Maybe! Or the one who just talks on the phone all the time... at any rate, I love how these turned out, and all products were from Archiever's. My friend and I spent a morning recently there doing the Little Itty Bitty Card workshop. We made these cards and one more, but don't have my quilling on it yet.. Her and I had a blast making our projects and then enjoying lunch at the Cheesecake Factory! thanks for stopping by today!
I hope you stop by my blog sometimes:
