Hi friends!!
Jodie from Jodie's Scraplab here.  I have a little Spring birthday card for you!  I used my Silhouette Cameo and a couple files I got off the Silhouette America site!  Lot's of good stuff there!!

Here is the front.  I ran the background through my Xyron and attached it to the inside of the card, adhesive side up.  Then, I sprinkled this gorgeous fine glitter by Crafty Sprinkles called Breezy Blue all over it.  It stuck to the adhesive showing through the back!
Look at this cute medallion!

Here is a close up of that beautiful shell pattern.

I used the A5 Shell card base from Silhouette America, as well as the birthday medallion.  It cut perfectly and look at that fine detail!  I am in LOVE with my Silhouette!!!!

Thanks for joining me today!  I will see you in a few days with another fun project!!

Hugs,

Jodie

Easter Eggs by Teresa Kaufhold

Hello All My Crafty Friends!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Teresa here, from the Create Enjoy Share blog. The theme this month here at Our Kreative Karma was our choice of  Easter, Pastels or Spring.  I went with Easter!

I have two versions of the card to share. The first card is the card I sent to my daughter.

This card was a file I purchased from the Silhouette store.  I simply layered the patterned and solid card stock on each egg, then embellished each with my I Rock and a "diamond"!
I embossed the solid colored egg as well, using my Cuttlebug and the Swiss Dots embossing folder.

Here is a side shot of the card. I really liked this card since it is sort of a "Shaped Card".  I loved the design of the card and how the egg shapes pop up above the card just a little bit!

Inside, the simple sentiment "Happy Easter" was stamped using Pink By Design stamps!

The next card is another version of the same card, just using different papers.
.I did this card very similar to the first card, embossing the solid colored eggs.

Here is the Pink By Design Stamped Sentiment on the inside of the card.

Thank you for stopping by today. I would love for you to visit my blog and leave some blog love!

Wishing you all a very Happy Easter and Happy Spring!

Cuppy cake owl cutie!

Hi there! Marji here, Today is my day to share with you, I saw these owls on Pinterest and have been collecting fun cup cake wrappers ever since, I found this file on the Silhouette store site an knew it would be perfect, the less I have to fabricate myself, the better lol

So I cut the pieces using a double sided piece of paper (partly because I was feeling lazy and partly because I knew it would match)
I just flipped the wings, center eye pieces and beak over so the back of the paper shows.  I inked the edges with orange ink and assembled.

I chose 3 different cupcake wrappers, folded them in half using 2 of each pattern then glued them to the front of my owl.
I finished her off with some teal google eyes and I really love how she turned out!!

So whenever cupcake wrappers are on sale, I'll be buying them, there are SO many cute ones out now!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great day and please let me know what you think of my cutie!

Sarah Woodring dt post " Have a tweet day"

Hello Crafty Friends!
I hope you are all having a wonderful day! Today is my day to post for Our Kreative Karma. I can’t believe that March is almost over with so, again this month we were to use pastels, spring or Easter designs. I chose to make this a birthday card using a chick and some My pink stamper stamps.

So Here’s my card
I used Create a critter for the chick and cut her at 3 1/2"
For the banner I used the ek success scallop scallop punch on green glitter paper. Then wrapped it with limeade twine from doodlebug.

I added some glossy accents on the beak and feet.
and of course some googly eyes.

I used My Pink Stamper stamps and memento tuxedo black ink.

I think it turned out so cute. what a great card for a birthday close to Easter or just to send to a friend to let them know you are thinking of them.

I hope you will visit my blog @ craftingwithsarah.blogspot.com to see my other creations and follow along to get updates.

Saturday March 23rd-Our Kreative Karma

Our Kreative Karma

Where is the early spring we were promised???

Hi! It has been a month since I have posted! How is everyone??  I am so ready for the nice weather that we here in Iowa were teased with!  I can hardly believe that next weekend is Easter already!  Where has this month gone??

This month our posts could be about St.Patricks day, Easter, or Pastels.  I chose to show you a little something that the "Easter Bunny" is working on.  Even the Teenagers will be surprised I think.

I bought some large Easter Eggs at Target and used vinyl to put each kids name on their special egg along with some polka dots.  If the Bunny can get a move on it there will be some homemade T-Shirts to fill the eggs along with some other goodies :)

Here is a sneak peek at my project:

Susie's Day - Springtime

Well Happy Friday!  Time is just flying by and it's spring already.  It's been a while since I've posted and I have been so excited.  Maybe too excited because I've lost my crafty mojo!  I've been setting spring related items on my table for weeks and rearranging them and adding to them and also taking stuff away just trying to get an idea on what to make.  Nope, nothing came to me at all. Been going through paper, embellishments, everything I've got and still nothing.  So I'm sitting there playing a game on my laptop and still thinking and I actually got an idea.  Not a great idea but at least a step in the right direction.  What about all those practice painting pieces I have!!  Years ago I was trying to teach myself to paint and I was using waxed paper to practice and saved all of them, good and bad.  Yes, I'm one of those!

So I looked and found the folder and pulled out flowers and a humming birds.  I finally decided on the humming birds and put one of them in a plastic folder I made so it wouldn't chip and glued a piece of yellow cardstock to the back.  I set it on the table and kept walking away until I could figure out what to do next.  Never really came up with anything, but did keep adding to it.  It was going to be a card, but got too big to be a card.  Didn't really want to do a layout with it, so now I think I may just frame it and put it in my craft room.

Here are a few pictures I took and of course there is ribbon and bows, my trademark.  I also used the fabric covered buttons I got from Pinque Peacock.

Here is the humming bird, I used creative license on the colors.  hehehe

These are the fabric covered buttons from Pinque Peacock.  My photos don't do the colors justice for some reason, all the colors are very bright, but don't show up that way.

And last but not lease is the whole 'layout'.

Hope you enjoyed my springtime project and have a great weekend!

Monkey See Monkey Do
Good Morning! How are you this spring day? I love the sound of that! Spring!  Today I made a 2 page layout called Monkey See Monkey Do! It's a great new file over at Creative Kuts.com and with my Cameo-a snap to cut and layer these adorable monkeys! Take a look!

All the papers used are from CTMH! I love their double sided cardstock in such great designs and colors. Some inking, double mats, and spring vines give this layout a great look! I know during our Easter celebrations, my little great nieces and and granddaughter will be having a blast and I'll catch them in some shenanigans to put on this layout! Don't the monkeys look like they're all saying- It wasn't me! Which I hear a lot at family functions! Have a blessed Easter and I love how the monkeys will be a unique change from all the bunnies and chicks! Thanks for stopping by today!

Marji~Dr. Who gift set

Today I am thrilled to share with you one of my current favorite projects!!

A lot of us joined in on the "pay it forward" crafting drive that went around at the beginning of the year.  The way it worked was I posted the pledge on my wall to make something special for 5 people and they promised to do the same for 5 more...so for one of the ladies who signed up under my post I made the following:

I saw this stack of paper at Joann's called The District and immediately thought of Dr. Who so of course I knew who I'd make this for! She is a big Dr. Who fan and talks about the show a lot.  I personally have never watched it but just from her posts and the bits I've seen I was hoping this would pass.
This card is ALL paper!!  It's all from this one stack.  I decided to try my hand at collage since Dr. Who is a little out of the norm.  The clock, bike and lamp post are mounted with foam tape.

If you'd like to see more pictures head over to my blog please.

Sarah's post "Bunny back in town"

Hi Crafty Friends!

I hope you are doing well. For your viewing pleasure today I have a circle card that I used a cricut cake cartridge and birthday bash to make a simple and cute card.

The cuts I used are from
Holiday Cakes pg 69 for bunny @ 2 ¼
Birthday Bash pg 29 for card and layer @ 4 ¼

Here is my card.

I cut the bunny from the cake cartridge from a pale green and pale purple. Then I added stickles to the dots on the bunny.

When I cut the card, I cut both layers at 4 ¼ then I used the swiss dot cuttlebug folder to give the layer some demision.

The stamp is from walmart studio g it says the bunny is back in town. But with the embossing it didn’t stamp to well so I had to rewrite it.

Then I tied a bow with green satin ribbon.

And that is it. That’s all folks.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you will head over to www.craftingwithsarah.blogspot.com and follow my blog so that you can see when my design team  post and others come to life

Mixing up some Spring time fun

Today I am sharing a fun shaped card with you. I got this SVG file at the Silhouette store.

This was a lot of fun to make.

I used a Pink by Design stamp set for the tags, it's the Fresh Goodies set.  I used some kraft colored twine and my mini stapler to attach it.  The mixing bowl is attached with foam tape so I can easily tuck the tags into the bowl.
If you'd like to see more details please head over to my blog.

The challenge theme I am going with is pastel colors, this is one of my favorite pallets.

Gearing up for Spring!  I just love this paper and SO wish I had 100 sheets of it, so since I only had one, I chose to use it for this adorable box, that way the recipient will be told to reuse it or give it back...just kidding
